------------------ Gordon. ------------------ Gordon. ------------------ Gordon. ------------------FlyGirl I'm trying to locate a castle in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA in which to have a medieval theme wedding. Please help! Our original plans were to get married at Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh until I had to go a get a new job. Now we are desperately working on Plan B. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. wurdsmiff Here's a list of 'castles' in California, not sure if any are in the area you want or if they're available. http://dupontcastle.com/castles/#ca

Any other suggestions? wurdsmiff Sorry no, these big houses in the States don't really come within my sphere of interest or my definition of castles. I offer this link to those who are interested and it is often most useful to them. Perhaps someone else can suggest somewhere?

www.castlesontheweb.com/members/wurdsmiff/castles.htm FlyGirl I found the website most interesting and useful in pursuit my other castle interests (building a castle). I too am not into the "Big Houses" that so often are referred to as castles in the States. My original plans were have the wedding at Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh October 19, 2000 with the entire family. However, do to circumstances beyond my control, I had to cancel the wedding at Dalhousie Castle and am working on Plan B. Dalhosue Castle holds a special place for my fiancee and I ever since our fist visit to Scotland. Once you have your heart set on one castle it is hard to find another. wurdsmiff And the Castles of Scotland have their own particular charms, but then I have to say that! Good luck with your plans, I'm sorry Plan A didn't work out for you.
